5/2007 - Introducing the UIM4 Color Display for the ProTech Controller - Bay Controls announces the introduction of the UIM4 color-capable display. A backward compatible “drop-in” for the V series control system, the new UIM4 enables users to experience enhanced readability and upcoming color-only features. The UIM4 offers higher brightness and greater contrast ratio over the current UIM3.

4/2007 - BayWatch 5.3:Expanded Capabilities to Remotely Monitor Compressed Air Systems - Bay Controls announces BayWatch 5.3, the latest advanced, web-based compressed air monitoring system, offering essential resources to precisely manage your compressed air system. Whether at home, the office, or on the road, BayWatch lets you remotely monitor your compressed air system.
Now, with BayWatch 5.3, the superior system-monitoring and analysis reports available through the BayWatch service can be automatically e-mailed to service subscribers on a regular schedule established by the subscriber. Preconfigured reports are available for automated e-mail. And, a new feature allows users to create custom reports within the BayWatch system which can also be tied into the automated e-mail delivery service. An additional convenience includes the ability to receive preconfigured and customized alert notifications from your compressed air system via text messaging.
These new features all help to ensure the dependability, precision, and safety of a compressed air system, while providing further resources to increase energy and cost saving processes with the convenience of remote system monitoring. BayWatch 5.3 is available as a complete package or, the new options are available ala carte depending on individual needs.

4/2007 - Bay Controls Hosts Technical Session at Society of Automotive Engineers 2007 World Congress - Bay Controls' own Brian Bee will host a segment of the Energy Efficient Manufacturing technical session at the 2007 SAE World Congress. Titled Managing System Wide Compressed Air Costs Through Web Based Reporting and Analysis Tools, the presentation will enlighten participants on energy savings and optimized performance derived through a web-based compressed air monitoring system.

4/2007 - BayWatch Showcased in New Energy & Building Automation Publication - Bay Controls contributed a chapter to the newly published Web Based Enterprise Energy & Building Automation Systems book now available from Fairmont Press.
Editors Barney L. Capehart and Lynne C. Capehart incorporated a Bay Controls case study into their book which was co-authored by Bill Allernon, Ford Motor Company; Rick Avery, and Sam Prud’homme, both of Bay Controls. Titled Ford Compressor Management System Case Study, chapter 12 focuses on the success Ford Motor Company experienced through the use of Bay’s compressed air system controls and the BayWatch web-based monitoring system. The book itself encompasses the capabilities and use of IT and web-based energy information systems. It explains how to use data to determine what actions to take to improve efficiency and productivity at commercial, institutional and industrial facilities.
